Methuselah:

Methuselah is... a Smashing Pumpkins' song! Seriously! She appears in episode 11, watching Robin and drawing runes on the ground. She also appears to be around Jyuuzou, controlling him. When Narumi attacks Robin and Amon, Methuselah says the power given to him by his ancestors was too great for him, so she takes his powers away long enough for Amon to bring him down. She meets up with Robin in episode 12, telling her about the history of witches and their persecution. She was one of the witches alive during the Salem Witch Hunts during the 1600s and exists in the present day because time is "stagnant" for her. She tells Robin that she is one of the Salem Witches, and has the same blood within her as the ones she hunts for STN-J. When she finally 'dies', she passes to Robin not only thousands years of history, but the secret of the Craft... the ultimate technique.
