Nagira is the lawyer Amon sends Robin to live with after Solomon’s siege on Raven’s Flat. He offers Robin protection under the guise of employing her as a messenger girl for his law office, and spends much of the time with Robin trying to understand both Amon and Solomon’s hidden motives behind searching for her—often resulting in his neglect of his legal duties, much to the disdain of his secretary. He also has contacts within the Walled City that provide him with information on what Solomon is planning, which he turns around to give to Robin. Nagira investigates STN and Solomon because he hates “those Witches and Seeds who try to restrain others.”

You may be wondering why it is Amon knows a lawyer as well as he seems to know and trust Nagira. The reason Amon and Nagira know each other so well is… well, they’re family. In fact, Amon spent a few months with Nagira while they were kids. Both men share a father, but have two different mothers. You know—the family which Amon vehemently denies having to Robin towards the end of episode five? Indeed. Nagira is Amon’s half-brother—both having the same father, but two different mothers. Apparently, Nagira lucked out in the genetic pool and didn’t end up with the “witch gene”, despite his father actually being a witch.
