Amon mentions that they spent two hours having Robin's eyes checked. Robin asks him what he plans on telling the other, and he replies that he will them them exactly what the doctor said. Once they arrive at Raven's Flat, the guard informs Robin that her motoscooter is almost ready. She thanks him, while Amon asks if if she understands what is going on. Robin says she feels weird, since even she doesn't know thing about her own body. Amon asks her about the glasses, and Robin replies that they came from Italy. He explains to her that when she uses her Craft with her full potential, Robin's vision becomes impaired momentarily. Robin says that no one can possibly measure the impairment that accurately, and Amon asks her if she wants to stop using the glasses. Robin says she doesn't and Amon said that it was a given, since she's useless if she cannot control her ability. Robin asks Amon if he'll use her as his partner, and he says he'll use her when necessary. She asks Amon what _his_ ability is, and Amon walks off. ROBIN: Is it, by chance, not awakened yet? AMON: There is no need for me to answer that question. While she stares at the disappearing form of Amon, he guard informs Robin that her scooter is finished. [OP] Robin rides on her scooter towards a lot. She goes up to a box, pulls back the top, and disturbs a homeless man's sleep. Karasuma appears next to her, asking her what she is doing. Robin replies that she was merely watching him. Karasuma tells her she is being rude, and the homeless man wants to know who they are, while Robin explains that she was only curious. Karasuma says they have work to do, then shows a picture to the man, asking him if he had seen that person. The old man replies that he hasn't. Robin asks if he really DOES live out there... Doujima and Haruto search for their target, Takizawa Shouji, among a group of homeless people. Takizawa was a well-to-do person with a good home and plenty of money, and Doujima says there are many reasons he could have disappeared. Takizawa was also on STN's list of witches. Doujima thinks that Takizawa isn't among the homeless, but is in a fancy hotel. Haruto explains that Takizawa had no money or credit cards with him when he disappeared. Doujima complains about the demeaning work she's doing, as Haruto asks a man walking by if he has seen any new people around. Doujima finds something in a box--photos taped around the side. Haruto and Doujima smell something funny, and turn around when they see a man holding his head in fear of something. Haruto begins to talk to the man when he takes off running. Haruto runs after him and watches as he is killed by an oncoming truck in the street. Doujima comes up behind him and is shocked. Zaizen hangs up the phone and tells Amon that the victim was a mistake arrest. Amon replies that they can't identify the person as a witch or not, and says Haruto could do nothing about it. Zaizen let Haruto go, and brings up the subject of Robin's glasses, asking Amon why he did it for her. He tells Amon that Robin's behavior was his responsiblity alone, and Amon agrees. Downstairs, Kosaka lectures Haruto on the accident, saying that it cannot be settled with a simple "I'm sorry". The others listen to the conversation going on, and watch Haruto as he walks out of the meeting room. Robin says, "Sakaki" as Haruto walks out of the office. Kosaka comes out, mumbling about how ridiculous it is as Hattori offers him a tissue. Robin asks Michael why Doujima didn't get yelled at, even though she was with Haruto; Michael tells Robin to ask Doujima herself. Robin says that she can't ask her directly about it. Doujima overhears their conversation, and says she doesn't get in trouble because she's "special", explaining that her parents are powerful people that put her in STN to guide her. Zaizen allows her to stay in without getting fired or yelled at. Kosaka sneezes, and Hattori asks him if he's alright. Kosaka doesn't understand why he's feeling so sick. Hattori suggests that perhaps the chief may have caught hay fever. Kosaka agrees, mentioning that the way to cure hay fever is to pass it along to someone else and walks toward poor Hattori as he gets ready to sneeze. In the meeting room, Robin asks Amon if an anxeity case such as the one earlier has happened before. Amon explained that Karasuma felt a witch's presence a year ago. Karasuma felt the witch in the middle of the crowd, but couldn't find the person emitting the feeling. Amon says when Karasuma looked behind her, a man ran away in complete terror. Michael mentions that the person they caught wasn't a witch, and had no memory of being chased. Karasuma adds that she smelled olives, and wonders if Doujima smelled the same. Doujima says that it was, mentioing that the fragrance brought back a memory she couldn't share. Robin wonders if it could be the same witch, but Michael says that neither case had anything in common---except the olive smell. Amon says that isn't much a clue to go on. Robin begins to say something, then Amon asks her if she plans on going all over the city smelling things. Karasuma mentions they were lucky last time because the man lost his memory, since STN cannot afford to have an incidence of mistaken arrest. Michael says the olive smell disappeared by the time the group entered the Factory, and plans to add it to Solomon's database, not their own data. Haurto goes back to the subway homeless area, approaching the box Doujima detected the smell. The strange man Haruto talked to earlier comes up behind him, asking if Haruto found that person he was looking for. Haruto says, "No." The strange man offers to help Haruto find Takizawa, since he has his connections, adding that he would know if a newcomer showed up in the area. Haruto hands him the picture. The stranger takes a look, and says he hasn't seen Takizawa, but suggests Haruto to search in a nearby park that had some newcomers. Haruto thanks him and leaves. Harry hears footsteps coming towards him, so he turns to greet the visitor. Amontakes a seat at the bar, and asks Harry if he's heard anything weird from his friends. Harry asks about what happened. [EYECATCH] Haruto walks around the park, looking for Takizawa. Michael types away on his computer and Doujima works on a crossword puzzle. Robin asks Karasuma for more information about last year's incident, and she replies that it was her mistake. Robin mentions that it was the same incident as the one occurring yesterday. Karasuma snaps, saying that it was NOT an incident, but an inference, since there was no evidence of a witch's presence or that the man had anything to do with Takizawa. Robin begins to apologize, but Karasuma says Robin seems to want incidents to happen, unlike herself. Robin starts to apologize once more and is interrupted again by Karasuma apologizing for her irritability. Amon walks in, asking Michael if he found an additional information. Michael says no, and Amon suggests that he run a search for any witches called "Single Eye". Michael asks, "Single Eye?" and does the search. Amon asks Doujima where Haruto is, and replies that she does know and hasn't had any contact with him, even over his cellphone. Michael finds information on Single Eye witches, mentioning that it is a very unusual and rare kind of witch. He explains that Single Eye witches don't do anything physically, but control people's minds... Haruto continues his search for Takizawa, when he hears someone. He turns to see a man holding his head and moaning. Michael's voiceover continues: Single Eye witches send very powerful feelings into people that they cannot control. Basically, they put fear into the minds of others. Robin says that it is impossible. Michael believes that a witch increases the amount of fear or anxiety a person had and uses it against them. Robin says that the more fear or anxeity a witch gives their victim, the more dangerous that person becomes. Amon mentions that the witch is powerful and it is impossible to determine who the witch is, with Michael adding in how difficult it is to identify someone in a city. Amon's phone rings, with Haruto asking him to come to the park immediately, as he is in the same situation again. Amon says he'll be there as soon as possible and tells him not to provoke the man. He tells the others to go to difference places. Haruto raises his arms and asks the nervous man to calm down. The man starts to calm down a bit. A group of birds fly off behind Haruto and the man runs away. Haruto runs after him, then has a flashback of what happened to the first man he chased. Robin, Karasuma, and Doujima are in the same car. Robin wonders what Amon means, and Doujima interrupts her to tell Karasuma where to park. Meanwhile, Amon and Haruto both pursue the man, with Amon jumping out in front of him to keep from jumping onto the street. Amon punches him, knocking him out. He tells Haruto that the man is a decoy, like the man from the last incident, and explains that Karasuma and the others are at the subway to so some more investigating. Robin wanders around the subway, and runs into the strange man Haruto spoke with earlier. The man explains he cannot see well out of one eye, and asks her for forgiveness. Robin forgives her and Doujima finds the box she found the olive smell from, finding the pictures missing. Haruto and Amon join the group, mentioning that Takizawa was found dead, having killed himself three days before. Karasuma asks who they were supposed to be looking for, and Haruto wonders if there ever was a witch in the first place. Robin says she smells the scent, and Doujima confirms that it is the same smell from before. Haruto grabs his head and starts to panic. The others watch as Robin hugs Haruto, telling him it's alright. Haruto calms down, and Doujima notices the smell has disappeared. Karasuma says she cannot detect anything except despair and sadness unlike anything she's seen before. Doujima, Karasuma, and Robin stand by the side of the street in the rain. Doujima says her "secret memory" wasn't anything important, but she seems to have that memory about her past when she cannot even remember her own parents' faces. She asks Robin about her parents, and Robin says she has none. Doujima says she envy's the girl. That night, Touko calls Amon and gets his answering machine. She tells Amon to delete the message she left earlier, since she is home. She believes that he is tired, and says she'll see him later. Robin goes to Harry's and sees Amon sitting at the bar with Harry. Harry offers her an espresso, which Robin accepts. The two sit quietly until Amon sneezes. ^.~ Robin gets out her handkerchief to offer to Amon, but he says he has one. Robin asks Amon if he believed Takizawa would come back for his family photos, and replies that he did. Robin asks about Amon's family, but he says he doesn't have any. Robin wants to know how Amon found out about the scent coming from a Single Eye. Amon says he only heard a rumor--from Harry himself. Harry explains that he heard that a Single Eye leaves a scent as a sign that they have used their power--and have one good eye. Robin remembers the man she ran into earlier, and wonders if he was the witch they were looking for after all. The man lights up a cigarette, and walks off carrying a tote bag. [ED]
